etc.venues gains IIP accreditation for 6th consecutive time
etc.venues have continued their impressive record of IIP accreditation after passing with flying colours for the 6th time in a row.
IIP was started in 1990 and soon became recognised as a benchmark for excellence in employee welfare, advancement and development. The IIP standard has been designed to help organisations improve performance and realise objectives through the management and development of their people.
Etc.venues first gained the IIP standard soon after they were founded in 1992. Accreditation needs to be renewed every 3 years and etc.venues have reached the standard on each occasion since which is impressive as the size of the company, number of employees, market conditions and ownership structure have changed dramatically since.
Alastair Stewart – the MD of etc.venues is delighted to have once again reached IIP status and commented:-
"Having great venues is all well and good in this business but it is the staff that really make a difference. It’s fairly easy to set up a training room but ensuring hundreds of delegates and guests are feeling welcome, comfortable, well fed, relaxed, and happy takes the kind of dedication shown by our venue teams every day".
I’m delighted we have gained the IIP accreditation for the 6th time in a row – I’m told only about 100 companies have achieved this which confirms my feeling that etc.venues staff are very special indeed.
We have put a lot of effort into our staff development and training and our service levels are now recognised as some of the highest in the venues and events industry. The standards set by being accredited to IIP have really helped us to achieve this."
