Our venues have won lots of awards (best conference venue, best service best CSR to name but a few) but it’s nice when our marketing is recognised too.
We won 2 MIMA awards at a lovely ceremony on Monday night – Gold for best integrated campaign (for the launch of our new St. Paul’s venue) and Silver in the best use of video marketing category. The integrated campaign category is a tough one as you need to show strength across many different marketing disciplines. The campaign to launch etc.venues St. Paul's combined PR, advertising, literature, e-mail, video, website and web advertising, launch event and POS material and the judges said it was one of the strongest entries they had ever seen at the MIMA’s.
etc.venues' Head of Marketing David Owen (pictured centre) was delighted with the awards and said:-
“It’s great to be recognised like this – particularly for the St. Paul’s project which required some brand re-positioning at the start to show that this new upscale conference and event offering is slightly different to the training and meeting venues on which our reputation has been built. I am a great believer in integrated marketing as even a modest budget can be made to work hard if the audience see the same message in their inbox, letterbox, trade magazines, at exhibitions and when they attend the launch event etc.”
