Our Marble Arch venue had the pleasure of hosting the annual IACC Copper Skillet cooking competition on Friday afternoon. The venue’s restaurant was transformed into a master chef like kitchen with various stations and a selection of condiments, ingredients and herbs for the chefs to choose from.
20 chefs entered the competition including 4 of our very own etc venues chefs.
The chefs are given 20 minutes to choose their ingredients which must include 1 protein which was a choice of fish or chicken and with this they needed to incorporate chorizo into the dish.
The great news is that at the end of the competition our Sous Chef Mateusz Wielek who was the winner of the Junior Competition and Dexter House Sous Chef Edward Simpson was runner up. Check out Ed’s post with his recipe on the blog.
