cabbage in sauce pan(1) 2.When leaves are cool enough to handle, use a small knife  to cut away the thick center stem from each leaf, without cutting all the way
4 .Cook rice in water(400 ml  water)
3. Fry the chopped onion in oil in a large frying pan until tender and let it cool,  next add   beef, rice, garlic, thyme, parsley, salt and black pepper.
4.Place about 150g  mix of meat on each cabbage leaf. Roll away from you to encase the meat. Flip the right side of the leaf to the middle, then flip the left side. You will have something that looks like an envelope. Once again, roll away from you to create a neat little roll.
5.Place the cabbage rolls on dish and seasoning each layer with salt and pepper. Pour beef stock over rolls, cover and place in oven. Bake for 1 hour,160°C
6. Served with Basil Tomato sauce.
Method: Heat the olive oil  in a pan, add the garlic, then gently fry for 1 min. Add the other ingredients, except the basil, then bring to the boil.Reduce the heat, then simmer uncovered for 5 mins, stirring occasionally. To finish, add the basil leaves, then stir into the sauce.
