Dexter House Wins Gold - 10/02/2009

Dexter House has been named as 'Learning Facility of the Year' at the Institute of IT Training Awards.

 

We knew that Dexter House was a bit special when we opened it in September 07 - it represented the culmination of all we had learnt in running specialist training venues for the previous 16 years. So we are delighted to win Gold in the 'Training Facility of the Year' award by the Institute of IT Training as recognition that other people think Dexter House is rather good as well.

General Manager Dominic James and Head of Business Development Brendon Smith were on hand to accept the award at the ceremony held on February 5th, 2009 at the Dorchester in London.

   

This prestigious award is presented to the learning facilities operator that has shown exceptional needs analysis, service innovation, and service delivery capabilities for their clients and their clients' learners. In particular, the judges look for clear differentiators, evidence of innovation and client endorsement, providing a service that generates real business/public value, and having a strong proposition in response to the challenge -"what was special about your performance this year?"

The judging panel were very impressed with Dexter House and gave the following explanation for awarding Dexter House the Gold award. 

 
"Dexter House was only opened within the last eighteen months, was an extremely impressive facility- both in terms of its size and its flexibility. The data presented to the judges showed that the Dexter House team achieved an incredible first year's performance; the company has a sound business model that is able to identify the clients precise needs and configure a solution to meet them. Of particular note was the innovative IT infrastructure that the company had installed- it will certainly make the learners' experience richer and more rewarding. Etc venues gave an extremely professional and enthusiastic presentation, and responded well to some searching questions".
